I'm appalled by your use of a gun's crosshairs over a photo of East Longmeadow's school superintendent, Dr. Edward Costa. In our society of violence, especially school violence, your choice of visual is horribly irresponsible. And given the issue reported in the article, the headline and the photo are over-the-top. I believe you owe Dr. Costa a sincere apology, and not a line of apology in your newspaper, but a personal apology by phone or a visit to his office.
