Support the Arts

Once again it's September and the rehearsals have begun for orchestras and performers throughout the area.

Downtown Springfield will, of course, have fabulous shows and music; Symphony Hall and City Stage.

Also in the greater Springfield area there will be many performances worth seeing.

Old Post Road Orchestra, under the direction of Niel Schermerhorn, Holyoke Civic Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of David Kidwell, and plays, Greene Room Productions, Erin Greene, Executive Director, to name a few.

Music will enhance one's life, make it full, and enable you to face the trepidations and the ambiguity of everyday living.

There is a cultural escalation taking place in the greater Springfield area. Support the performing arts and in the process you will hear beautiful music and see some fine plays.

Also if you want to hear country western music, attend the shows of the Resurrection Airmen Band, led by Kirk Creswell and his wife Margaret. Watch for the advertisements.

The excitement builds; one can feel it in the air. Be part of it.
