Thanks to the DPW for maintaining Heritage Park |
|
On my way to the grocery store I drove past Heritage Park. It was a bright, sunny day. The sight of all the skaters, young and old, brought to mind the cherished memories I have.
The park at that time was known as Blackman Pond. My son was in grammar school. He spent many hours there.
My compliments to the men of the DPW, who spend time keeping the ice in good condition.
Now, my great-grandson and his friend are enjoying the results of their efforts. Thanks again to the DPW.
