After a trip to the Big Y store at Allen and Cooley Streets in Springfield, I realized I had left my wallet on the cash register.
In a panic, I returned to the store to find it had been evacuated because of snow on the roof.
I spoke to the store manager and he assured me that, upon regaining entrance to the store, he would call me. Sure enough he did, it was returned to the service desk and I was happy to pick it up the next day.
I'd like to thank whomever was kind enough to return it, reinforcing my belief that people are indeed good.
