Transparency in Government
In an effort to continue the theme of transparency into spending, I believe the town of East Longmeadow should divulge how much it paid Thomas J. Scanlon & Associates to conduct an audit of the monies spent in regards to the state grant awarded to Dr. Costa. It is my understanding the state's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education performed this service at no charge. I am comfortable concluding it likely cost more than $41.16.
