God has a plan for each and every one of us.
When the dust cleared on that fateful day in Iraq and Mark realized he had lost both of his legs, he said "I will walk again.you'll see, I'm gonna walk again!" And walk he did!
After several grueling months of therapy, he donned those two prosthesis and marched right back to East Longmeadow to the people he loved and who loved him. The courage and determination of this young veteran certainly is a shining example to all of us.
I believe this was God's plan for Mark. To teach us how to cope with the losses and tragedies of our own lives.
When Mark entered the Kingdom of Heaven, I'm sure God embraced him and said, "A job well done, my son.welcome home!"
