Waiting for a response

The results of the recent senatorial election have been felt nationwide. Although this might indeed impact National Healthcare Reform, it was a vote that was taken seriously in Massachusetts for reasons that had little to do with that and more to do with our dissatisfaction and concerns that were ignored. Elected officials statewide should take a serious look at the powerful message we have sent them. If indeed they are unable or unwilling to act on our issues, then changes will continue. If they will not listen now, they will continue to hear our voices at the polls.

Although there are many issues concerning us in our fine state, do not underestimate our passion here for our veterans and the recent attacks on their benefits. As a registered Democrat I voted for change rather than supporting the constant dismissals from some of our elected officials. Democrats, Republicans and Independents have come together to forge our own changes here in Massachusetts. Together we are strong, passionate and dedicated to those who can not only address but implement change. Our choice has been documented and we are waiting for a response.
