The powers that be at Reminder Publications have decided I need to sit in front of a camera and bring a new dimension to my weekly rants.

So here goes:

Mike, I like the new video commentary. We neeed some color in that office of yours for future feeds.

I agree with you 100%. The Mayor needs to take a leadership role and initiate the eminent domain proceedings for the Urban League building.

The City Council support has grown from 2 to currently 6 and we are working on and I hope to have 7 votes by the time the vote comes before the City Council.

The City Council has been advised by the City Solicitor that the City Council can not initiate the land taking proceedings since we are the voting authority to take the land. Therefore we have asked the Mayor to do that for us. We have not had a response as of yet and we have asked twice.

Lets hope we can start the New Year on the right foot for Mason Square.
