We Can Do No Great Thing
We can do no great thing.
Only with God's help we sing.
Only small things with great love
sent to us from above.
We can love and hold friends near,
talk, sing together, drying their tear.
We can walk together, hand in hand,
spreading God's love to all we can,
loving all who come our way,
then lovingly show them how to pray.
So when you go to sleep tonight,
thanking God for all in sight,
always remember this too:
It is His love that will see you through.
Only with God's help we sing.
Without Him we can do no great thing.
