The Promise of Spring

Daffodils blooming.

Grass turning green.

Forsythia's yellow

Just can be seen.

Ski slopes are closing

For lack of crisp snow.

Golf courses will open

All true duffers know.

Snow birds returning-

Too hot to stay.

Cape traffic increasing-

More cars every day.

T-shirts appearing.

More and more shorts.

Playgrounds are active-

Now crowded with sports.

Storm clouds are fewer,

As always the case.

More sun is now shining.

God's plan is in place.
