Question: Theo Peckham, you are coming off your first NHL game Friday night. What was the experience like, Theo?
Peckham: It was pretty good. I mean, just being up there with all the older guys and just preparing for games and just seeing how they work. It was an amazing experience. So hopefully I can get back there soon.
Question: What was going through your mind when you got the call from head coach, Kelly Buchburger?
Peckham: It's kind of hard to explain. To hear you're going up to the NHL, and a lot of things start running through your mind and you're heart starts to speed up. It's a good feeling.
Question: Was it everything that you had dreamed of?
Peckham: Pretty much, yeah. It was amazing.
Question: What was the eye-opening experience for you, as far as getting into the action?
Peckham: Just the speed and the way they compete up there. I mean, it's a lot faster and you have to make decisions a lot faster. Everybody's stronger and it's truly a jump.
Question: What is it going to take to have the Falcons continue to earn points in the standings?
Peckham: Just us playing with all we can. We're a hard working team and we have to push for the playoffs and if we do that, and play our own game, I think we'll be fine.
