2010-11 Season: Was captain of the Hershey Bears in his fourth full season with the Bears.
2009-10 Season: Was a member of the Hershey Bears setting career highs in goals (15) and points (34). Helped the Bears to their second consecutive Calder Cup Championship.
Career Notes: Was a member of the 2008-09 Hershey Bears Calder Cup Champ-ionship team. Played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin (WCHA) from 2003-07. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native registered 31-62-93 and 52 penalty minutes in 160 career games with the Badgers, including a career-high 9-20-29 and 18 penalty minutes as a senior in 2006-07. Started his pro career with the Hershey Bears at the end of the 2006-07 season helping the Bears to the Calder Cup Finals.
ACQUIRED: Signed as a free agent by the Columbus Blue Jackets on July 1, 2011.
DRAFTED: Washington Capitals round eight (249th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
