SPRINGFIELD – The Western Mass Wolverines AAU basketball team won the championship at the Father’s Day Classic at American International College.

The Wolverines went 4-0 beating two Springfield Trailblazer teams as well as the South County Selects and the Pittsfield Heat.

The Wolverines had a very successful 2014 season that included three tournament championships. Members of the team hail from East Longmeadow, Agawam, Longmeadow, Granby and South Hadley.
