For the second consecutive year, the Longmeadow Girls U-12 A Division softball team won the New England Youth Softball Association (NEYSA) League Championship at Greenleaf Field in Springfield. The NEYSA League is made up of teams from Western Massachusetts. Longmeadow won the regular season title as well as the Championship series. Longmeadow beat Monson 11-1 and 7-1 in a best two out of three championship series. They finished the season with a 15-1 record.
