U.S. Lacrosse, the national governing body for the game of lacrosse, hosted a regional coaching clinic at Longmeadow High School. The clinic was sponsored by the Longmeadow Parks and Recreation Department. The U.S. Lacrosse Coaching Education Program has been established to create a multi-level, national, standardized education curriculum and additional resources, accessible to all coaches at every level. With the explosive growth of the sport of lacrosse around the country, the need for knowledgeable, experienced coaches is greater than ever before. U.S. Lacrosse is committed to providing opportunities to develop these important leaders, through online offerings, clinics and comprehensive certification.
