Daggett Gymnastics Team brings home trophies

The boys, girls and prep opt competetive gymnastics teams from Tim Daggett's Gold Medal Gymnastics of Agawam brought home a total of eight team trophies and many individual place awards at their home meet, the Tim Daggett National Invitational, Feb. 5 through 7. Over 900 athletes from 56 gyms throughout the Northeast and Pensylvania traveled to Kendall Gymnasium on the grounds of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley to compete in the three-day event. Team results for Daggett's were as follows: Prep Opt Advanced second of three gyms; Novice fourth of seven gyms; Intermediate seventh of nine gyms. Boys teams: level four third of 13 gyms; level six fifth of 16; level nine first of eight; level 10 first of 14. Girls team: level three first; level five third of 11; level six first of 11 gyms.
