Falcons back on WHYN AM 560 for 2010-2011 season

Springfield -- The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced that they have agreed to terms with Clear Channel Communications to broadcast all 80 regular season games (40 home and 40 away) on WHYN AM 560 during the 2010-2011 season.

Once again for the 2010-2011 campaign, Mike Kelly will handle the on-air play-by-play duties for the Falcons. Kelly will be entering his fourth season in Springfield as the voice of the Falcons. Kelly became the Falcons' fifth play-by-play radio broadcaster on Aug. 16, 2007 following Don Orsillo (94-96), Chris Kerber (96-00), Marc Shelanski (00-05) and John Michael (05-07) in the Falcons' radio booth.

The Falcons are currently accepting deposits on full and partial ticket packages for the 2010-11 season, in addition to 40 and 10-Flex Packs.

For more information regarding season ticket information, contact the Falcons office at 739-3344.
