Falcons plan to thank ticket package holders with barbecue |

SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced they will host their third annual Falcons Summer Barbecue on Aug. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the West Springfield/ Agawam Elks located on 429 Morgan Rd. in West Springfield. The event is an exclusive barbecue for ticket package holders and corporate partners. Invitations with RSVP information will be sent out later this summer.
"This is an event we had great success with in the past because it gives us a chance to say thank you to our ticket holders and corporate partners," said Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon. "We are looking forward to another fun event this year and we are excited about the 2009-10 season.
Falcons' staff members will be serving the free food provided by Castle of Knights in Chicopee, while Mansfield Paper and Coke have also donated product for this year's event.
