Twelve-year-old CJ Reed ran his first 5 mile road race in Springfield to benefit SIDS, winning the 14 and under division with a time of 42:52, Oct. 3. It was the first time he ever ran a five-mile race. He ran the race with his father, Chris Reed, and his uncle, Dave Reed.
