Hall of Fame to host 3 on 3 tourney

SPRINGFIELD Momentum is building for the second Annual Pioneer Valley Nephrology (PVN) Hoops 3 on 3 Invitational Kidney Tournament.

This two-weekend event will take place March 14 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and March 21 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Basketball Hall of Fame, 1000 West Columbus Ave. Open to the public, tickets are $3 per person at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The goal of the tournament is to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and to raise awareness of chronic kidney disease.

The mission of the NKF is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
