Holyoke Parks & Rec. looking for female tennis players

HOLYOKE -- The Holyoke Parks and Recreation Department is looking for area women who are interested in joining a USTA Beginner's Tennis League.

Holyoke's team, the Paper Dolls, will play surrounding area Parks and Recreation beginner teams.

The team will meet Monday nights at 6 p.m., with play beginning in June and will continue through August. Teams will consist of 10 to 12 players who are ranked at the USTA 2.5 to 3.0 beginners level.

Practices take place outdoors at either the Roberts Sports Complex or Crosier Field.

There is a $40 fee for the USTA annual membership which comes with benefits.

All ages are welcome.
