"It all started with the little round ball," Jordan said at the Sept. 11 press conference on center court. "It's not just me going into the Hall of Fame, it's a group of us."

Stringer said she was overwhelmed by the honor.

"There are no words to deeply express how I feel today," she added. "It's nothing that I ever planned. It's the moment you want to hold onto for life ... you are only limited by your dreams and vision."
