Longmeadow Lancers wrestling team
The Longmeadow Lancers wrestling team recently competed in the King Philip's Statewide Tournament on Dec. 8, placing fifth out of 12 teams. The team performed well with eight of the 11 wrestlers that competed (out of a possible 14 weight divisions) qualifying to move to the final medal rounds. Three of the Lancers, Chris DeLuca, Ryan Fortsch and Greg Paquette, came away with second place finishes.
