Pazzo Open to aid Shriners Hospitals for Children

SPRINGFIELD Eight nine 10, they do it again. It's time to tee up for the third Annual Pazzo Open. The Springfield Shriners are asking the community to come out and help support the Springfield Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The tournament will take place on Aug. 9 at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick. All proceeds will be donated to the hospital.

A shotgun start for the 18-hole scramble format is at precisely at noon, with registration from 10 to 11 a.m. at the beautiful Ranch Golf Club, 65 Sunnyside Rd. in Southwick.

The cost of $175 per player includes breakfast, lunch, golf, cart and admission to the awards dinner and after party at Pazzo Ristorante, 1000 West Columbus Ave, Springfield, from 5:30-10 p.m.

For those who do not golf but still want to support the Shriners facility, tickets for the after party are only $50 per person and the lavish event menu includes chef Byron White's wide variety of hand passed sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, carving stations, a full dinner buffet and decadent dessert stations. Beer and soda are complimentary and a cash bar will be available. The event also offers fantastic raffle prizes, a silent auction and a grand raffle prize for a trip for two, including airfare, to the Palazzo in Las Vegas. A limited number of tickets will be sold for this trip.
