The Longmeadow junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams are joined by the East Longmeadow junior varsity and varsity teams before a "Battle of the Borders" match last Thursday night. The players, along with many in the stands, donned pink in support of the Longmeadow Lancers' community service project, Spike It For Life. The program raises funds to fight cancer locally; all donations from the Oct. 14 games against West Springfield and the games on Oct. 15 were given to the Baystate Regional Cancer Program.
