Sportsman-like Conduct

Aidan Eagan was awarded the Sportsmanship Award recently at the Neville Smith Lacrosse Tournament in West Hartford, Conn.

The tournament was founded by the West Hartford Youth Lacrosse League intent on teaching young men to play the game based on skill and good sportsmanship. The tournament takes place in Smith’s memory for Junior B lacrosse players.

Each year, a hand-made wooden box lacrosse stick is given to a player “who exemplifies the spirit of lacrosse by his courage and spirit during the day” of the tournament. This year, Eagan was the seventh recipient.
