Springfield Falcons focus group

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League will host a series of focus group meetings starting on June 8 from 6 to 8 p.m., giving individuals a platform to meet members of the Falcons front office and participate in an open dialogue regarding the organization.

"As we have stressed many times, our fans are very important to us and we need them to help grow our franchise," Bruce Landon, Falcons president and general manager, said. "We have experimented with focus groups in the past and we have come up with a fresh approach to allow fans an opportunity to express their feedback on a wide range of topics regarding Falcons hockey."

Fans interested in attending these focus group meetings are asked to RSVP through the Falcons' official facebook page (Official Springfield Falcons). Each focus group meeting will be hosted inside the Falcons' locker room at the MassMutual Center and there will be an open agenda to allow fans to touch upon a variety of topics.

This past April, the Falcons started daily chats on their official facebook page (Official Springfield Falcons) allowing fans to discuss items pertaining to both the on-ice and off-ice products of the Falcons organization. Each chat is mediated by a member of the Falcons front office staff.

Also, weekly agendas are set from the daily facebook chats and they are used in a weekly video show with Landon posted on both the Official Springfield Falcons facebook page and Falconsahl.com.
