Teen's memeory kept alive through tournament

The Longmeadow Soccer Association entered five teams into this years Kevin Barmak Memorial Soccer Tournament that took place in Enfield, Conn., over Labor Day weekend. This tournament is run yearly and is one of the most favored tournaments in the area. It has been ongoing for 18 years to keep the memory alive of a very unfortunate teen whose life was lost to illness when he was just a high school student. All teams that participated played very competitive soccer and enjoyed the tournament. Competing in this years tournament were the U11, U12, U13, U14 Girls teams and the U13 Boys team. Congratulations go out to the U14 girls team who went 3-0-1 to win their division. Also the U12 girls team tied for second place but lost on goal differential and did win the Sportsmanship Award. Overall, the teams all did great and want to thank the Enfield Soccer Association for hosting such a wonderful weekend of soccer in Kevin's memory.
