SPRINGFIELD -- Human Resources Unlimited (HRU) has announced that three-time Super Bowl Champion Troy Brown will be the keynote speaker at the organization's 40th anniversary breakfast on Oct. 26 at the Springfield Sheraton, starting at 7:15 a.m.
"Troy was a pivotal member of the Patriots' three Super Bowl championship teams in 2001, 2003, and 2004," noted Donald Kozera, HRU's executive director. "He knows how to overcome adversity and succeed when perhaps others think it's impossible. That is the same bar we set for disabled and disadvantaged individuals that we serve: you can succeed despite adversity and the opinions of others. Troy's accomplishments are incredible and his comments are sure to be inspirational."
There is no charge to attend the 40th anniversary celebration, which will also feature HRU's annual employer awards, but donations to the nonprofit organization are welcome. For information on reservations please contact Kathleen Plante by e-mail at kplante@ HRU.org or by phone: 413-781-5359.
Brown's appearance is presented by The FieldEddy Insurance Network .
