The sentimental valentine gifts made from tiny seashells by 19th century sailors at sea will be the topic at the Friday, Feb. 14 meeting of the Springfield Garden Club. Bonnie Pedersen from Southborough, MA will show some examples in a power point presentation, display her own creations, and give participants who bring a pair of tweezers the opportunity to create their own small shell flowers.

The meeting begins at 11:30 am at the Wilbraham United Church, 500 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095 with a light luncheon tea followed by a brief business meeting. The program begins around 12:30. The meeting and luncheon are free and open to the public. Non-members are warmly invited to attend. Donations ($5 suggested) are gratefully accepted.
