CHICOPEE – Kassandra Perez is helping local animals receive training and pampering through her business, Endless Pawibilities, which caters to dogs, cats, reptiles and more.

Perez started Endless Pawibilities two years ago, but has been training dogs since graduating high school. Her business offers training, pet daycare, dog walking, pet manicures, pet photography – and most recently – pet clothing and merchandise.

“I started to notice a lot of people in the community had dogs that never had training or grooming before or they couldn't really find a budget-friendly place they could go to,” said Perez.

This prompted her to begin Endless Pawibilities, which works to help train animals and offer grooming at a reasonable price. Perez, an owner of Pitbulls herself, also wanted animals to have a place to go without discrimination.

“I know a lot of places that discriminate against a dog or animal before they even really get to meet them,” she said.

Perez was trained by an animal behaviorist and is currently in school to become a Veterinary Technician.

“I’ve worked other jobs, but animals have always been my passion since I was a kid. I always wanted to make sure I kept working with animals,” she said.

Perez offers different types of animal training to her clients. Clients can choose hourly classes or can purchase training course packages. Perez has six, 12 and 18 week training courses. The training courses meet once a week, but if an animal needs extra help or an extra class she doesn’t charge more. Perez is also flexible in her schedule and works to help clients fit training into their lives.

“Whatever time is best for both of us, that’s usually when I do it,” she said.

Perez also knows how important it is to keep budget in mind when it comes to her services. Unlike many other trainers, she offers payment plans. The cost can be broken up into two or three payments, she said.

“That way people can still get the training or the services that they need without having to worry,” said Perez.

Endless Pawibilities is also unique when it comes to the location of their services. Perez travels to client’s homes or, for those farther away, is willing to meet in a mutual location. Trainings usually take place outside within parks.

“A lot of animals feel more comfortable within their homes,” she said.

Before COVID-19, Perez often had her clients come to her own home. Now she travels to accommodate those who may feel uncomfortable going out. She comes fully prepared and brings her own grooming table. According to Perez, COVID-19 has actually helped her business grow.

“A lot of companies are filled. It’s made my business a little bit better because anyone that’s booked up and can’t go to a regular facility, I actually just go to them instead. It’s more convenient for them since a lot of people don’t want to travel nowadays.” she said.

Perez is CPR certified and “fear free” certified. She noted that she sets herself apart from other groomers or trainers by learning different techniques to make the experience better for an animal. If an animal is aggressive or fearful, she can offer pet-friendly pheromones to calm them down.

“I also don’t mind if they’re a little rowdy or aggressive. I have my own dogs and I’ve had cats, small animals and reptiles, so I know not all of them are going to be friendly to a stranger or completely comfortable. I don’t mind taking the extra time or sitting on the floor, playing with them, offering them treats before I go right into it,” she said.
