SPRINGFIELD – As part of Dr. Seuss week to celebrate the life and work of the Springfield literary legend, students and staff at Arthur T. Talmadge Elementary School on Allen Street joined other Springfield Public Schools in a week filled with daily themes and activities.

Pictured here, second grade students, dressed in mismatched clothes for Wacky Wednesday, used Dr. Seuss books as inspiration to design and write about their own Seuss-like creatures.
