CHICOPEE – Diane Lyons-Frasco recognizes herself as a mystic and victim soul. Connected spiritually, Lyons-Frasco has taken her life experiences and compiled them into a book about God, Heaven and lessons to be learned. “Topics of Heavenly Proportions” was self-published by Lyons-Frasco and is now for sale on Amazon and through her P.O box.

“They’re little short stories about lessons from the Bible like ‘Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.’ and I go into a story about what happened to me, my life and how I decided to do what I was supposed to do and the vision that came out of that,” she said.

Lyons-Frasco is from Chicopee and works as a special needs bus driver in Agawam. Lyons-Frasco has a degree in Psychology and another in Mechanical Engineering. She has spent her life dedicated to helping others and traveling across the United States to visit churches, counsel and give speeches. This is the first book she has written.

Lyons-Frasco started writing her book in November 2019. According to Lyons-Frasco, she paid for printing and publishing of the book by herself. Throughout the entire process, she said she had immense help from her sons. Now she is waiting for the book to take off.

“There are some parts in the book that are really funny and comical and it’ll make people laugh. It’s very down to earth. They’re short stories and it’s large print. I made it that way so that people who don’t like to read will not be able to put the book down and that’s exactly what I’m getting from people who’ve read it. A lot of people can’t put the book down,” she said.

Lyons-Frasco said that if this book is successful, she hopes to write two more.

“I would like to write two more books, but first this one has to take off. If I’m not selling the book, then I can’t write another one until I can pay off my debt. Once it takes off, it’s just gonna explode. It’s just waiting to take off,” she said.

Prior to publication of “Topics of Heavenly Proportions,” Lyons-Frasco had wanted to write a book for 30 years.

“Every time I tried writing I came up against a roadblock or felt like I didn’t have enough material. It was always something. It was like I couldn’t do it,” she said.

Lyons-Frasco said she used her religion and connection to God to write this book. During her free time at work, she began to bring her laptop and get as much done as she could. Lyons-Frasco said her dedication and hard work paid off.
