EASTHAMPTON – The Easthampton Farmers Market is running their first Winter Market at the Keystone Building, 122 Pleasant St., every first and third Sunday of the month until March.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Jan. 17, Feb. 7 and 21, and March 7 and 21.

Robin Creamer, a member of the steering committee, said the Winters Market began in November and ran weekly until December. When asked why they decided to extend until March, he said “we felt there was enough interest from vendors and also from customers that it would be worthwhile.”

After March 21, Creamer anticipates a break until their Summer Market opens in late May.

According to an announcement on their Facebook page, they ask that everyone wears a face mask, maintain a 6-foot distance between people, no eating or drinking within on the property, and a local should not attend the market if they have been feeling sick.

Also in the announcement, it said the market accepts the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
