A rough site plan of the four buildings that are being built on the Longmeadow and East Longmeadow town line was provided by KW Commercial-Pioneer Valley. The two buildings on the Longmeadow side include a 25,000 square foot office space (left) and a 50,000 square foot medical building for Baystate. On the East Longmeadow side, one building is a Proposed Memory Care Assisted Living facility approximating 34,785 square feet (left) and the second building will house the expansion of the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center, which comes to a gross square footage of 84,605 square feet. LONGMEADOW – Driving by the intersection of Dwight Rd. and Maple St. may look a little different, as the construction for four new buildings has begun.  The location once filled with trees has been wiped clear to make room for a 50,000 square foot medical building, a 25,000 square foot office building, a 84,605 square foot nursing facility and a 34,785 square foot dementia-friendly facility.

According to Richard Leblanc of KW Commercial-Pioneer Valley, the 50,000 square foot building located on the Longmeadow side of the location will be occupied by Baystate Medical Center and will include some form of medical practices.  The building to the left of the Baystate building, also on the Longmeadow side, is the 25,000 square foot location that will house offices.

On the East Longmeadow side, the circular shaped building is an expansion of the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center off Maple St., according to LeBlanc.  The building will be two stories with a 43,665 square foot footprint and gross square footage of 84,605.  This skilled nursing center will have a total of 131 beds.  The building to the left of the nursing center expansion has been proposed as a Memory Care Assisted Living facility that will contain 28 beds. This location is the 34,785 square foot facility.

Though this is a rough site plan of the project, LeBlanc assured The Reminder that he will provide updates as the project progresses.
