SPRINGFIELD — The 25th annual Rays of Hope walk and run took place on Oct. 21 in Springfield, drawing thousands of supporters who walked and ran in support of raising funds to find a cure for breast cancer. Local musicians and clowns entertained guests as they milled about, and guests took in the hundreds of pink balloons, the Miss Western Massachusetts winners, local cheerleaders, and the bright–pink Massachusetts State Police cruiser.
