AGAWAM – On March 11, three local talents will come together for a one-of-a-kind show, Tricks and Giggles.

This event will take place at 8 p.m. at Agawam Cinemas, 866 Suffield St.

This show marks the first ever live performance at the newly renovated Agawam Cinemas, and features mix of magic and comedy unlike anything being offered in the area. During the performance, the audience will be treated to laughs from comedian Tim McKeever and the impossible by magicians Rich Gilbert and Pj Pinsonnault.

This show is recommended for ages 18 and older for language and themes. Parental discretion is advised for attendees under 18. Tickets are $10, available at www.tricksandgiggles.brownpapertickets.com.

McKeever hails from Western Massachusetts. He has performed at clubs and colleges all over New England including the Funny Bone, Hu Ke Lau, Comix, and Jokers Wild. He has opened for some of the region’s top comics and national acts including Steve Byrne (“Sullivan and Son”) and Dan St. Germain (“Best Week Ever”).

Gilbert’s interest in magic began young, at age 10. Since then, magic has grown into a passion bordering on obsession, in the best way possible. In time, he would join the Society of American Magicians, one of the most recognized and prestigious organizations for magicians in the world. Gilbert is the current president of the society’s Springfield Assembly.

He travels extensively to study magic with master magicians from all over the globe, and brings these experiences together with his own brand of humor to create an experience you won't soon forget.

Pinsonnault has been performing for audiences all over New England for the past 15 years. He has studied with the best magicians in the world, constantly honing his craft and finding new ways to do the impossible.

He has taken the stage locally at UMass, City Stage, and The Majestic Theater, as well as performing original feature length shows for sold out crowds in Western Massachusetts.
