Norcross House to present ‘A One Man Christmas Carol’

EAST LONGMEADOW – The Norcross House in East Longmeadow welcomes J.T. Turner as Charles Dickens in “A One Man Christmas Carol,” in a benefit show for the historic home on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $20 and are available by calling 525-1122 and may also be available at the door. Seating is limited; there is ample parking.

Witness the classic tale of “A Christmas Carol” come beautifully to life as actor J.T. Turner portrays Charles Dickens and every single character from the story in this one-man show. Charles Dickens was famous for bringing his “A Christmas Carol” to life for audiences every year, and this version brings all the drama, comedy and redemption as Dickens had originally written it.

J.T. Turner is an award-winning professional actor, director and writer, with credits on stage, screen and audio. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity, J.T. is also a historical re-enactor, touring theaters, museums, schools, libraries and churches in original shows.

He is the founder and director of Moonlight Productions Inc., a theater company dedicated to using theater as an outreach tool for children and teens, and Artistic Director of The Actors Company, a performing group that works with non-profits. J.T. is also a professional lecturer, fight choreographer, circus ringmaster, and acting and public speaking coach.

The performance lasts 90 minutes with a brief intermission and will be in the Norcross House in front of the fireplace in the men’s parlor. The Norcross House is located at 89 Maple St.
