SPRINGFIELD – Smokey Joe’s Cigar Lounge is adding a roster of entertainment to its offerings.

The private cigar club at 395 Dwight St., which is open to the general public with a one-day membership, will be presenting a night of comedy on May 11 at 8 p.m. Owner Joseph Hendrix explained to Reminder Publications that a recent comedy night was so successful, he decided to bring it back.

Hosting the show will be Chris Clarke who has appeared on BET’s “106 & Park,” as well as “Comic View.” Clarke has also built up an audience through his YouTube channel “Chris Csnacks Clarke” on which he posts reviews of snacks and candy. Corey Manning will also be appearing. He describes himself as a “superhero by day and a comedian by night.” Manning has both a career in comedy and mentorship, He co-hosted and co-produced the Boston-based magazine television show “Wake Up Live with Corey and Drea,” which extended into a daily morning show on one of Boston’s radio stations.

Rounding out the bill with be Joe Show and there will be an after party with deejays KLS and Captain Brian Thomas.
