Big Brothers Big Sisters host Brews, Bites & Bids

HOLYOKE – Brewery representatives and residents from across Western Mass. supported Big Brothers?Big Sisters of Hampden County on Nov. 7 during their Brews, Bites & Bids event. The craft beer and food paring, auction and raffle event took place at the Log Cabin in Holyoke.?It featured drinks from regional breweries, food from the Log Cabin and tables of items for attendees to bid on to raise money.

Local breweries in attendance included Wilbraham-based home brewer Clear Headed Brewing, West Springfield home brewers?Dignified Winston Brewing Company, Fieldcrest Brewing Company of Wilbraham, Holyoke Craft Beer, Iron Duke Brewing in?Ludlow, Loophold Brewing, which is opening a Holyoke location in the near future, Rustic Brewing Company of Springfield, Stockade Brewing Company in Southwick, Two Weeks Notice Brewing Company of West Springfield, Vanished Valley Brewing Company of Ludlow and Springfield-based While Lion Brewing Company.

The event was emceed by President of Chikmedia Meghan Rothschild and former MassAppeal host?Seth Stutman, who currently works with the Jewish Community Center in Springfield.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County has more than 345 active bigs and littles across Hampden County, Granby and South Hadley.
