FEEDING HILLS — The Sacred Heart Parish in Feeding Hills conducted its 6th annual Blessing of the Animals on Oct. 6 in honor of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Father Steven Amo blessed the pets, which included a prayer and sprinkling of holy water, of all attendees in the parking lot in front of the Parish Center located at 1061 Springfield St. All pets were kept on leashes or in crates.
