AGAWAM – After a fun-filled science fair full of projects ranging from slime to a drawbridge at James Clark Elementary School on March 7, STEAM?teacher Tammy Rumplik joined her students at Granger Elementary School for their science fair on March 14.

The fair included projects from students ranging from preschool to fourth grade and included oceans, owls and a replica of the first basketball hoop.

Students utilized creativity and various supplies to create unique projects that sparked their interest in science topics. Students observed with awe the effects of pouring pop rocks or vinegar into volcano replicas to make them erupt and viewed an interpretation of ocean life through a fish tank.

Students from the Agawam High School National Honor Society were invited to discuss the projects with each child and watch presentations.

The noncompetitive fair ended with an evening ceremony on March 14.
