Six Flags is seeking seasonal employees, over 3,000 jobs open

AGAWAM – Six Flags New England is currently seeking to fill over 3,000 seasonal job positions for the 2019 season.

The theme park will host a job fair on three dates: Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The job fair will take place at the Human Resources Building.

On the Six Flags website, the company posted, “Six Flags New England, the Thrill Capital of the New England, is looking for hardworking, enthusiastic and eager individuals who are ready for a thrilling and rewarding position. Whether your idea of fun is working as a photographer, in retail, guest services, performing in a show, making funnel cakes or maybe running one of our 13 coasters, there’s something for everyone.”

Open positions include Food Service Team Members, Guest Relations, Lifeguards, Water Attendants, Games Team Members, Ride Operations, Retail Team Members, Admissions Team Members, Security Officers, Park Services Team Members, Loss Prevention, EMT/Safety members and Marketing Team Members.

During the job fair, entertainment auditions will take place throughout the fair to cast dancers, singers, performers and technical crew members.

For those unable to attend the job fair dates, walk-in interviews will be welcome starting on Feb. 20. Candidates can apply online and visit the Human Resources building on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For those who have been employed by Six Flags New England in the past, Six Flags will host a “re-hire only” event on Feb. 15 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Company-offered benefits include free park admission, health benefits, private employee events and an employee scholarship program.

To be eligible for employment at Six Flags, candidates must be at least 16 years old. Interested applicants should apply online at sixflagsjobs.com prior to attending the event.

Six Flags New England opens for the 2019 season on April 6.
