EAST LONGMEADOW – Each year, East Longmeadow’s Norcross House hosts their Wreath and Craft fair with proceeds going toward supporting the Norcross House. While the sale will go on this year, the Norcross House is suggesting residents pre-order their wreaths, kissing balls, garlands, cemetery boxes and more.

Norcross House President Donna Martinez told Reminder Publishing that this year the House decided they would take pre-orders, as they were not sure what sales would be like this year. She noted they don’t want to order too much or not enough product to support the demand.

Martinez stated that the Norcross House needs to put in an order with their supplier by the end of October, thus they are asking for pre-orders from residents by Oct. 24. Bearing this in mind, she explained they will still have more wreaths, boxes and more available for sale on Nov. 21.

The jury is still out as to whether or not they will be able to host the craft fair to go along with the wreath sale. Martinez said while right now they don’t think they will be able to host it, there is a slight change that may change.

The Norcross House is located at 89 Maple St. in East Longmeadow. The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 21. Wreaths will be for sale at various sizes, with 12-inch wreaths costing $14, 14-inch wreaths costing $16, 16-inch wreaths costing $18. Kissing balls are 15” and are priced at $30, garlands are priced at $5 a yard. For cemetery boxes, small boxes are $15, and large boxes are $20, with extra bows costing $6. Pre-orders can be placed via email with Martinez at dlmartinez@charter.net before Oct. 24.
