Incumbents sweep Hadley town elections

Hadley voters went to the polls on May 16.

HADLEY — With a 12% voter turnout, the town elections saw 10 positions filled with all candidates running for reelection retaining their posts.

For Select Board, Jane H. Nevinsmith, running for reelection, received 327 votes.
William R. Banack won his assessor seat again, with 362 votes.

Susan Mosler will keep her position with the Board of Health, receiving 344 votes.

Joining Mosler on the Board of Health are Emma M.H. Dragon, and John C. Waskiewicz II, with 296 and 143 votes, respectively.

James J. Maksimoski was reelected to the Planning Board, receiving 351 votes.

Tara M. Brugger and Ethan W. Percy were reelected to the School Committee with 312 and 288 votes, respectively.

Elector Under Oliver Smith Will Trust candidate Maureen K. Devine won her seat with 360 votes.
James W. Shea retained his Park Commission seat with 328 votes.

John C. Hallock and Jo-Ann M. Konieczny won their seats as Library Trustees with 302 and 328 votes, respectively.

Sue C. Oppenenheimer and Tracey Reilly were elected as members of the Housing Authority, receiving 204 and 192 votes, respectively.

454 Votes were cast out of 3,811 eligible voters.

The election was certified on May 17.
