Though Gary Fisher is a cabinet maker and furniture repairman by trade, he attended Long Meddowe Days with custom double-ring wooden goblets, unity candle stands, plates and bowls that he hand-crafted. Fisher explained that the double-ring goblet symbolizes the marriage of two souls and its fortitude over the years. For more information, email fisherwood413@gmail.com.

LONGMEADOW - The 39th Annual Long Meddowe Days festivities took place on May 19 and 20 and was host to the Tim Paige 5K Memorial Road Race/Walk, as well as opportunities for people to learn about the town, watch live entertainment and shop at vendor booths. Reminder Publications joined hundreds of residents on May 20 who were able to dodge rainstorms and take part in family fun.

The two-day event featured multiple bounce house slides and play areas for younger children, as well as a rock climbing wall for those brave enough to climb to the top. Tents lined the Town Green filled with baked goods, jewelry, clothing, hand-crafted wood in various forms and more.
