LONGMEADOW – On Dec. 12, Longmeadow Police Sgt. Eric Wisnouskas stood in a room of the police station filled with donated toys. The Longmeadow Police Department collected the toys as part of its inaugural Toys for Tots drive. Wisnouskas gave credit for spearheading the drive to K-9 Officer Amanda Buskirk. In addition to the police vehicle that was filled by individual donations, the officers received five pallets of toys from The First Responders Children’s Foundation.
