WEST SPRINGFIELD – For the first year, the Boys and Girls Club of West Springfield, 615 Main St., is hosting a holiday craft fair in conjunction with its annual Holiday Tour of Homes.

The craft fair is designed to add something different for tour-goers this year, said Sarah Calabrese, Resource Development director for the Boys and Girls Club of West Springfield.

The “Craft Fair at the Club” on Dec. 7, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature unique vendors. The majority of vendors are local and the crafts are handmade, Calabrese said.

Crafts available at the fair include birdseed wreaths, handcrafted wood creations, decorated wine bottles, flower arrangements, guitar string jewelry and comic book art. Many of the items are holiday-themed.

“Perfect for last-minute holiday gifts,” Calabrese said.

People who visit the fair can be entered into a no-purchase raffle for a beach getaway basket with a trip to Cape Cod, valued at $1,600.

Entry into the craft fair is free. To raise funds, vendors pay a $25 reservation fee for space at the fair. The Boys and Girls Club of West Springfield is also partnering with Friendly’s Chicopee location with a promotion that sees $1 of each sundae purchased that day going to the club.

In addition to the tour and craft fair, the Storrowton Carriage House is once again hosting a three-course gourmet lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $15 per person.
