WESTFIELD – Gift-ology had its Grand Re-opening in Westfield June 3 after having been in Longmeadow for 12 years.

Gift-ology owner Tiffany Hannoush said that the move to Westfield from Longmeadow was made because greater Westfield was a better fit.

“We felt that Westfield was a better fit for us because of the surrounding towns, and there is a lot of growth happening in Westfield,” said Hannoush. “We live close and our family lives in town so we decided this would be a good fit for us.”

Gift-ology is a store that sells gifts, lotions, bath bombs and candles, among other things.

Hannoush said that running the business, let alone moving it, was a struggle during the pandemic. Because of the changes to the business landscape, Hannoush said that Gift-ology made some changes to its base of products.

“Because we are small and family-owned we kind of changed directions. We used to carry a lot of bigger brands. Now my focus is the 150 to 175 small businesses that we buy from,” said Hannoush, “We felt like changing the direction to support small businesses would be a different growth opportunity for us to continue on and to give customers something you can’t necessarily find online.”

The store had a soft opening June 2 with a small group of customers. Hannoush said that there was somebody knocking on the door of the store at 9 a.m. June 3 when they did not open until 10 a.m., which she hopes bodes well for the success of Gift-ology in Westfield.

Gift-ology is located at 99 Springfield Road. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
