We are hometown news

Consider a third party candidate

Sept. 15, 2016 |

I am a proud American who is more fortunate than I probably deserve. However I am afraid for my, yours, and our nation’s future. We are told that we have two choices for president, that we must choose between corruption and insanity.

We are told that if we don’t vote R or D we are wasting our vote.

I disagree, I believe that wasting your vote is voting for someone you don’t believe in The lesser of two evils still leaves you with evil.

Bobby Kennedy said in 1968 that what we need in the United States is not division, hatred, violence, and lawlessness. What we need is love, wisdom, compassion, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer. I'm voting for peace this year and it will not be a wasted vote, a vote for Clinton because you hate Trump is a wasted vote, and a vote for Trump because you hate Clinton is a wasted vote.

Vote your heart, vote your conscious. Google Gov. Gary Johnson and Bill Weld. Do your homework. Get on the ball, citizen. Good men died for your right to vote for your future. I’m done with the partisan game, I implore every reader to join me.  Out of the three people on the ballot this November, let’s elect the adults.
